Insights Association names senior director
Danzy (pictured) has previously held senior roles at marketing agencies and not-for-profit organisations such as Rally, MediaCom, the US fund for Unicef and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.
In addition, Danzy has run her own independent consultancy working with brands, advertising agencies and research companies on areas such as social media, pharmaceuticals, packaged goods and retail.
Danzy has advocated for increased inclusivity within the industry and more inclusive research methods, helping to found research industry association the QRCA’s Inclusive Culture Committee and Young Professionals Committee, as well as being a founding member of the Insights Association’s IDEA Council.
Melanie Courtright, chief executive at the Insights Association, said: “Working closely with Shannon as a devoted volunteer, we’ve seen firsthand her superb research skills, extensive knowledge of the industry and attention to detail. Not to mention her enthusiasm and good nature.
