HSBC launches Viewpoint customer community

UK — HSBC has launched an online community called Viewpoint, which will let customers participate in a variety of discussions and surveys about banking with the firm. The site is being managed by online community research specialists Verve.

On the site HSBC says it will invite customers “to share their thoughts on a wide range of topics, from feedback on HSBC products and services, to what money means to you, and what you want your money to do for you”.

To become a member of Viewpoint, customers will have to register and answer a few questions about themselves. After they have registered, the bank then asks them to complete online activities – either a survey or discussion group – once or twice a month.

Really not happy I logged on as instructed but it kept disconnecting so that I couldn't be part of the view point. A complete waste of my time. I wasn't very happy about HSBC before now even more put off. What are you going to do about it?
