Gartner posts 10% increase in first-quarter revenue
Both research and consulting revenue grew by double digits. Research was up 12% to $348.1m while consulting revenue increased 16% to $84.3m.
Events revenue was a drag on growth, however – down 40% year-on-year to $14.3m. This was due to a “significant change” in Gartner’s schedule, which saw three large events and one smaller one move to the second quarter. Comparing like-for-like events, revenue was up 17% year-on-year, the firm said.
