Former Co-op insight manager to share Newtonian principles

UK — Katharine Newton, formerly part of the Research Award-winning Co-operative Food customer insight team, has become a freelance consultant, trading under the banner of Flare Research.

Newton left the Co-op in March after eight years with the retailer. Prior to that she was research manager for Asda and Iceland Foods.

With Flare, Newton aims to work with research agencies to support them in delivering projects that impact on a clients’ bottom line.

Describing herself as “an outcomes specialist”, Newton said: “My aim is to provide agencies with an outcome driven, client-centric support service, so they can deliver the actionable, commercially astute research projects necessary for business growth.”
