UK – Flamingo Group, the insight and brand consultancy, is to close seven of its eight offices and consolidate its operations in London.
According to reports, the consultancy, which became part of Omnicom just over 10 years ago, is closing its international operations – in New York, Sao Paolo, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Mumbai and Jakarta.
Flamingo was founded by Maggie Collier And Kirsty Fuller (pictured) in 1997.
A representative from Flamingo confirmed the story but offered no comment at this time. An Omnicom spokesperson has said: "Omnicom has decided to close Flamingo’s under performing offices in New York, Sao Paolo, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Mumbai and Jakarta to focus on growth opportunities in London.
"The agency is working closely with its people and clients in those offices to ensure a smooth transition. Flamingo will be placing a renewed focus on its presence in London, building on its foundation of a strong agency culture and great client work."
