UK— Firefish has reported turnover up 20% in its first quarter of 2011, the February–April period, following growth of 59% last year. Turnover for 2010/2011 was £6.3m.
As well as sales growth, the company is also taking on more staff, adding Gemma Laxton, Tony Laverty and Frances Martin, bringing headcount up to 48.
Martin joins Firefish from stints working clientside for News International and CNN, while Laverty spent the past six years at FreshMinds and Laxton was previously an account director at Hall & Partners.
Agency head Jem Fawcus (pictured) said: “This has been a very exciting year for the business and we are delighted to have attracted such passionate and talented researchers to consolidate our quant and qual teams.”
