Fintech firm launches election monitoring tool

UK – Financial technology company Newsquawk has developed a US election dashboard to track news related to the election for the financial market.

The tool monitors politicians, commentators, and news outlets, and users can filter by ‘breaking news’, ‘commentary’ and ‘politicians’.

London-based Newsquawk is a financial market news service used by brokers, traders and wealth advisors.

Mehul Patel, chief executive of Newsquawk, said the tool would help traders, brokers and journalists to reduce the amount of time they spend "filtering through the noise" to obtain "tradable information".
