UK— Research agencies NMB and H2B have merged to create what they claim will be the “UK’s leading research company dedicated solely to the financial services sector”.
NMG director David Burns told Research that the two companies were still working on the final details of the deal. A name for the new entity would be announced in September.
The merged business will be led by H2B partners Gerry Barwell (pictured), Sue Hayward and Penny Horner and NMG directors Jonathan Gunby and David Burns.
Burns said the merged business will offer both qual and quant services as well as each company’s existing flagship products.
Gerry Barwell added: “In bringing together the senior teams of H2B and NMG the new business will provide a fresh and distinctive full-service approach to research and strategic consulting. We’re all passionate about this industry and looking forward to working together.”
