EmSense and Fifth Dimension have virtual shopping on the brain
Respondents taking part in projects on Fifth Dimension’s Omega platform – which produces a virtual representation of a shopping environment in stereoscopic 3D – will also be asked to wear EmSense’s neuromeasurement headset, the EmBand.
In doing so, the partners say they will be able to “quantitatively measure the levels of emotional and cognitive engagement that are the key determinants of shoppers’ decisions to buy or not buy products at retail”.
