UK— Publisher Emap has forged an alliance with Doctors.net.uk to develop and run communications and market research programmes with key healthcare decision makers.
The agreement will see the sharing of content and joint-branded activity between Emap titles the Health Service Journal and Nursing Times and the Doctors.net.uk online network, which has some 50,000 weekly users.
Claudia Arney, group managing director for Emap Inform, said developments were under way in the areas of training, research, data and communications tools.
Doctors.net.uk operates a dedicated market research division called MedeConnect. CEO Richard Adams (pictured) said: “We can now simultaneously engage with doctors, nurses and healthcare managers in vitally important areas such as disease management, care pathways and new treatments.”
