Deloitte ad agency Heat adds AI practice

US – Deloitte-owned advertising agency Heat has launched an artificial intelligence practice to predict online social trends.

The technology uses patented algorithms to capture and analyse 100 million posts a day from sources including social networks, news sites and blogs. The platform identifies trends and keywords predicted to increase engagement, with 70% accuracy, according to the company.

San Francisco-based Heat will use the insights from the platform to inform its creative development and keyword recommendations. Further offers will be added to the tool later in the year, including omni-channel programmatic.

Jocelyn Lee, co-head of Heat AI and specialist leader, Deloitte Consulting LLP, said: "Heat AI’s proprietary technology allows us to develop real-time content based on predictive insights, delivering emotionally resonant and culturally relevant content. This allows our clients to be at the forefront of trending conversations and connect with the right audiences at the right time."
