US— Another win for Rentrak’s TV Essentials audience measurement service: Christian TV network Daystar has signed a multi-year agreement to buy viewing data.
Rentrak will report audience figures for the TV channel using tuning data sourced from 15m telco TV, cable and satellite set-top boxes.
Daystar’s Jonathan Lamb said: “The data provided will allow our network to have a clear scope of our viewer’s watching habits and allow us to understand our demographic in a way that would not have been possible before.”
Other recent TV Essentials clients include Bloomberg and Jewelry Television.
