CRM and data agency Burn acquired by Selbey Anderson
London-based Burn was established in 2005 by Julie Cheetham and Guy McConnell (pictured), who will continue to lead the agency following the acquisition.
Established in 2018, Selbey Anderson is backed by private investment and has made several acquisitions, including, most recently, communications consultancy Unity.
Through the deal, Burn’s clients will gain access to behavioural and data science-based planning, content creation and public relations.
McConnell said: “Selbey Anderson is the perfect partner for Burn, allowing us to remain dedicated to what we do best while belonging to a dynamic, bigger network.”
Dom Hawes, group chief executive, Selbey Anderson, said: “Customer and revenue acquisition is one of the key service practices within Selbey Anderson, so Burn’s deep expertise in brand response, CRM, data and direct help establish us in that area.”
