City of Ryde appoints Toluna to online community engagement task
The online community engagement platform, known as MyPlace, aims to encourage greater interaction between the community and council on local issues using a series of online research tools and discussion boards.
Residents can create profiles and once registered, can link with neighbours, businesses, community groups and the council to converse on a range of issues, take part in surveys and access volunteering opportunities in their local area.
A waste and recycling survey will be the first to appear on MyPlace, where feedback from residents and ratepayers within the local government area on the current levels of waste services will assist the council with the forward planning of Ryde’s waste and sustainability programmes.
