US— Cint is partnering with two firms in the mobile space, one for consumer location analytics and one for app usage data, fresh off its recent acquisition of mobile survey platform Thumbspeak.
Location data comes through an agreement with Locately, a Boston-based firm, which runs a panel of consumers who share their GPS information with the firm in exchange for discounts and rewards.
By intergrating Locately with Thumbspeak’s Connect platform, Cint said it would now be possible to target survey questions to specific people based on the places they visit and how they spend their time.
Meanwhile, a tie-up with Finnish mobile analytics firm Zokem allows Cint clients access to app usage data. At the same time Cint and Zokem plan to use Thumbspeak to attract more smartphone owners to join Zokem’s measurement panels.
