Cicero Group buys Utah pollster Dan Jones & Associates

US— Research and strategy agency Cicero Group has acquired polling and data collection firm Dan Jones & Associates for an undisclosed amount.

Dan Jones & Associates will continue to trade under its own name. Co-owners Dan Jones and his wife Pat will stay on for a minimum of five years in their existing roles as emeritus chair and president respectively.

The services offered by each firm will continue to be marketed under their own brands, and the two will also work together on joint projects.

The combined firm will have more than 130 staff. Cicero president and CEO Randy Shumway (pictured) said: “Not only does this marriage allow us to enhance the services we provide our clients, but it also represents a responsibility to maintain the high quality product and integrity associated with the Dan Jones & Associates brand.

“Each member of the Dan Jones team has invested so much in serving the Utah community, we could not be more excited to work with and learn from each of them.”
