US— CASRO, the US research trade association, has announced the election of its 2013 board officers. The body has added three new members to the board and a new chair-elect, Kantar Health’s global CEO Lynette Cooke.
Cooke (pictured) will take over as chair in 2014 following the 2013 tenure of Michael Brereton, the president and CEO of Maritz Research. Steven Wilde, COO at Directions Research, has been elected treasurer while Annik’s Rahul Sahgul has been elected secretary.
Joining the board on three-year terms are David Rothstein (president of RTi Research), George Terhanian (president for North America at Toluna). Andrew Reid, co-CEO at Vision Critical, joins for two years. while Dave Richardson, partner at Artemis Strategy Group, will serve as the past chairs representative.
They replace Robin Arnold (CEO at The Gilmore Research Group), Richard Day (president at RDR) and Kevin Menk (managing partner at Strategic Resource Partners), whose tenures on the board will end this year.
