Carma upgrades social and media monitoring tools

US— Media research house Carma is to upgrade its social media measurement service and add new features to NewsAccess, its media monitoring tool.

The company claims that enhancements to its social media service will allow customers to analyse reader comments and hyperlinks within social media sites. The firm claims that the enhancements will help customers to better gauge how discussions in the blogosphere affect their image.

Announced upgrades for NewsAccess include the ability to view social media results alongside traditional media results, apply tone ratings to articles and a range of customisation options for reports.
