BrainJuicer profit up 27% in 2016

UK — Research agency BrainJuicer’s gross profit increased to £25.6m last year, driven by strong progress by its US business and signs of recovery in Europe.

Excluding the impact of exchange rate movements, the increase in gross profit was 15%. 

The company’s System1 creative advertising agency, launched in early 2016, has been reported as making ‘an encouraging start'. System1 is run by former Unilever and Nike UK marketing director Rod Connors (pictured right with BrainJuicer founder John Kearon). 

BrainJuicer’s advertising testing and brand tracking services both reported strong growth: in aggregate, gross profit from these services rose by 80%, representing 39% of the company’s gross profit (compared with 27% in 2015 ).
