BELGIUM— Social media analytics agency Attentio has been awarded €525,000 in funding from the Brussels Regional Investment Company (SRIB/GIMB).
The firm, whose primary service is the Attentio Brand Dashboard that tracks and analyses conversations across social and traditional media, will use the cash to fund global expansion plans, according to CEO Amaia Lasa (pictured).
She said: “This is our first institutional financing round and we have an investor onboard that can support our future growth to a global position in the expanding social media monitoring market.”
Barbara Rise, senior investment manager at SRIB/GIMB, said: “Attentio has been a major technology innovator in this fast-growing market, so we are looking forward to supporting this momentum over the next years and use their central location in Brussels to gain easy access to major European markets.”
