84.51° launches CPG analytics tool

US – Kroger’s data analytics firm, 84.51°, has released Stratum, an analytics tool combining customer behaviour insights with retail sales measures for its brand partners.

Stratum will use data captured from store sales as well as online transactions.

Consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands will be able to gather data on sales performance, inventory and out-of-stocks, assortment, promotions, customer segmentation and behavioural insights, new item performance, and in-store space management.

Stratum with be available in various subscription packages to meet varying needs and budgets.

Mike Donnelly, Kroger executive vice-president and chief operating officer, said: "As we continue to accelerate our Restock Kroger strategy, we're all very excited about the next iteration of our customer insights. Stratum is a science-powered insight tool that is designed with the end user in mind."
