Virtual Incentives hires former Ipsos exec as market research lead

US – Incentives, rewards and payments business Virtual Incentives has hired former Ipsos, Kantar and Nielsen executive Frank Kelly as its market research practice lead.

Industry veteran Kelly has over 30 years leadership experience across research panels in North America and Europe.

Most recently, Kelly spent five years at Ipsos, leading its panel products and platforms team.

Kelly has also held leadership positions at Kantar and Nielsen in general management, operations, panel management and marketing.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Kelly will be tasked with elevating the company’s incentive and engagement strategies.

He will also provide consultative guidance to Virtual Incentive’s clients in the industry.

The move to appoint Kelly comes as the industry looks to make the research industry more engaging for participants, with incentives playing a fundamental role.

Kelly said: “I plan to engage with the Insights Industry and with research participants to create a playbook for effective incentive strategy.

“Engaged research participants are necessary for quality research, and incentives are a key component of that engagement strategy.”

Virtual Incentives offers more than 1600 gift card brands, virtual and physical Visa Paypal, Venmo, and Direct Bank deposits and issues over $1bn in payments to 182 countries and in 26 currencies.
