Estonian TV association names 2015–2023 TV measurement supplier
Mediaresearch’s SimEar technology, which uses audiomatching to track viewing behaviour.
The partners saw off competition from AS Elien, GfK and Nielsen to win the tender, organised by EMOL, the Estonian association of TV broadcasters and media agencies.
Mediaresearch’s SimMetry technology will be used to monitor TV viewing behaviour. It’s SimEar measurement device uses audiomatching to detect what shows and channels are being watched and is “independent of the form or manner of TV reception”.
