IdeaScale sets sail with US Navy crowdsourcing platform

New business North America

US — Idea management software provider IdeaScale is providing a crowdsourcing platform for the US Navy.

With the US Navy looking to reduce inefficiencies, Reducing Administrative Distractions will collect and select feedback suggestions that will improve administrative operations from Navy employees at all levels from junior sailors to commanding officers.

All active-duty employees are eligible to participate under anonymous or properly named profiles and the first round of data collection will run throughout July.

Rear Admiral Herman Shelanski said: “It will give us a good indication of what’s really making our sailors mad, plus set a course of actionable items in the weeks to come.”
