US — USA Today has selected the Pew Research Center to be its new polling partner, replacing Gallup.
The first fruits of the new relationship will be published this week with a look at Americans’ attitudes towards the congressional agenda and the priorities outlined by President Obama in last week’s State of the Union address.
USA Today ended its 20-year partnership with Gallup in January, calling it “a mutual decision”.
Gallup, meanwhile, is currently reviewing its polling methodology to try to understand the factors that saw it hint at a win for Republic challenger Mitt Romney in its final poll of last year’s presidential election race.
