UK – Online fashion publication Vogue Business has set up an index to measure the world’s top 50 luxury brands.
The index, which is produced with research firm Phronesis Partners, covers 13 luxury markets as well as consumer data from 8,000 Conde Nast readers.
There are five key themes the index will cover: consumer sentiment, financial results, omnichannel, digital and environmental, and social and governance.
The consumer sentiment data provides insights on areas such as brand awareness, perceived quality, brand association, loyalty and purchase intent, and the index is based on 200 data points.
Stephen Morgan, general manager of Vogue Business, said the index was “an objective scorecard for businesses and the industry to understand brand performance and ultimately make better decisions”.
