US – Customer experience company Iterable has appointed Markita Jack as head of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Jack (pictured) was most recently senior vice-president of diversity and inclusion at First Horizon Bank, where she designed and carried out numerous diversity and inclusion initiatives, and previously spent more than 21 years at First Tennessee Bank.

Iterable has set up a number of initiatives designed to address diversity and inclusivity at the firm, including a single geographical pay band for all employees regardless of location, fertility and adoption assistance, focus groups to gather employee feedback, and training for managers on unconscious bias and allyship.

Headquarted in San Francisco, Iterable, which runs a cross-channel marketing platform, also has offices in London and the US cities of Denver and New York.

Andrew Boni, co-founder, president and chief executive of Iterable, said: “Diversity in thought – a by-product of a diverse workforce – is a prerequisite for innovation.

“Markita brings a wealth of experience and will take our commitment to equity and belonging to the next level as we continue to scale.”
