US— GfK Custom Research North America has acquired Connecticut-based retail brand consultancy Interscope.
The deal adds consulting and training services to GfK’s existing research and analytical capabilities. “The company has created a truly integrated shopper marketing practice,” said GfK.
Interscope has 22 staff, including principals Alison Chaltas and Sal Fiordelisi (pictured), Carol Lauer, Gary Schnazer and Joe Beier.
Sales last year were $4.9m. The company will trade as GfK Interscope.
