Three new executives wanted at Arbitron

Firm creates new roles as part of staff realignment

US-- Arbitron has created three new executive positions in the latest phase of its staff realignment project.

The radio ratings firm is looking for an executive vice president (EVP) of customer solutions to be responsible for survey research methods and product management, an EVP of strategy and business development to take charge of business partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions, and an EVP and chief marketing officer to handle communications and branding.

All three positions will report to president and CEO Michael Skarzynski, who announced the realignment plan at the start of the month.

The first casualty of the reorganisation was president of technology, research and development Owen Charlebois, whose position was eliminated this week.

Another position axed was that of president of sales and marketing. Incumbent Pierre Bouvard remains with the firm in the new role of executive vice president for sales.
