US— Arbitron EVP and chief operating officer Sean Creamer has been appointed to the board of directors of the media measurement firm.
Creamer (pictured) joined Arbitron in 2005 as EVP of finance and planning before being made chief financial officer. Last year he was made chief operating officer with responsibility for the firm’s core business activities and cross-platform services and operations.
Philip Guarascio, chairman of the board at Arbitron, said: “Sean will bring to the board his keen awareness of the media and marketing information landscape and of the company’s opportunities for expansion.’
