US— The NPD Group and Rentrak are working together on a new report profiling video-on-demand consumers, which is designed as a companion to Rentrak’s State of VOD Trend Report.
Together, the two reports look at “where and how VOD users watch movies; if they purchase more or fewer movies across different formats; and the types of devices that are most used to rent or purchase content”, said Kirstie Fortner, Rentrak’s vice president of syndication.
Using data from NPD’s Entertainment Trends in America study, the VOD Consumer Profiles report analyses VOD users and enabled non-VOD users and compares them to the total population.
