Consultation set for revised ISO research process quality standard

GLOBAL— Revisions to the international research process quality standard, ISO 20252, are set to be put out to consultation in the next few weeks, reports Efamro – the European Federation of Associations of Market Research Organisations.

Changes are focused on four main areas, Efamro said:

“Updating the scope of the standard and quality management system; clarifying parts of the standard where queries have arisen by those countries and organisations that have fully implemented it; appraising the standard in light of new and emerging technologies; and incorporating any process requirements from the access panel standard, ISO 26362, not currently in the research standard.”

Interested parties will be invited to have their say on the revisions during the five-month consultation period, set to begin in autumn.
