Pursel picks Rentrak for TV metrics

US — Mutli-screen measurer Rentrak had been picked by advertising agency Pursel to provide metrics on TV viewers in Washington.

Using Rentrak’s StationView Essentials platform, the multi-year contract will allow Pursel to receive television viewing information from tens of thousands of televisions and households in its markets, which include both Spokane and Yakima/Tri-Cities, to garner deeper insights into consumer viewing.

Pursel’s president Mike Pursel said: “With the stability of Rentrak’s TV ratings, we will have access to targeted information, 365 days a year, that will help us plan better ad buys.”
