Data intelligence firm Veda invests in Datalicious

Asia Pacific M&A News

AUSTRALIA — Consumer and commercial data intelligence firm Veda has acquired a controlling stake in data and analytics agency Datalicious.

The investment forms part of Veda’s strategy to grow its marketing services division, Inivio.

Datalicious offers a range of services, from data warehousing, web analytics and media attribution over data mining, modelling and reporting to the planning and development of data-driven campaigns and websites.

The two companies have worked together since August, however Veda CEO Nerida Caesar (pictured) said the investment would take their partnership “to the next level – delivering the power of offline insights to maximise online channels”.

“Data is the new frontier for marketers and those who use it well are set to better understand their customers’ needs and their marketplace,” added Caesar.
