Aegis confirms Synovate sale talks 'exclusive' to Ipsos

UK— Aegis issued a statement this morning to confirm that it is in “exclusive” discussions with Ipsos about a potential sale of Synovate, after press reports of another possible bidder.
The Daily Telegraph reported last week that Aegis had received an expression of interest from private equity group Cinven.
WPP and Publicis have ruled out making a bid.
Talks between Ipsos and Aegis were first revealed at the beginning of this month. An Ipsos source told Researchlast week that a decision was “very close”.

Any effect on Synovate Saudi Arabia? Will Ipsos will apply there research models and not Synovate ones?
