Former rivals sign community-building partnership

Andrew Cooper's Verve partners with Dean Wiltse's Vovici

UK/US-- Former online research rivals Andrew Cooper and Dean Wiltse have become partners, following the signing of a deal between their two companies.

Verve Partners, the firm headed by Cooper, is to tap software from Wiltse's Vovici to build online customer communities and advisory panels for clients in Europe.

Before launching Verve in December, Cooper was co-founder and managing director of online panel firm Research Now – a major rival to Greenfield Online and its European subsidiary Ciao, which Wiltse led as CEO from 2001 to 2005.

Wiltse said: “Earlier this decade, Andrew and I grasped the opportunity which online access panels offered the research industry. We both now see the tremendous opportunity which customer advisory panels and communities present to clients in these challenging economic times.”
