Bauer Media restructures magazine research team

Liz Martin takes helm as Aida Muirhead resigns after 13 years

UK-- Publisher and radio broadcaster Bauer Media has restructured its magazine arm's research division following the resignation of head of research Aida Muirhead.

Muirhead stepped down from her post for personal reasons after 13 years with Bauer, and the firm installed Liz Martin in the newly created role of head of brand planning.

She was previously head of marketing for Heat magazine and will now take responsibility for audience understanding and insight, analysing market trends and assessing the impact of marketing activities.

As a result of the restructure, the post of insight manager was scrapped and Richard Fero left the company.

A Bauer spokeswoman told Research that the new structure now combines both consumer and client research operations.
