TURKEY — WPP announced today that its wholly-owned operating company, Y&R, the global communications network, has acquired a majority stake in Plasenta Conversation Agency.
The social media agency based in Istanbul was founded in 2011 and specialises in social media monitoring and management of digital media projects for Turkish and international markets.
The investment continues WPP’s strategy of developing its services in fast growing markets and sectors, such as the Next 11 (which includes Turkey).
