FRANCE — Press Index managing director Walter Patanella is to become CEO of Kantar Media Monitoring and Evaluation. The offering will be a division of Kantar Media Intelligence Europe, effective from 1 November.
The move follows WPP’s recent acquisition of Press Index for €11.2m and its integration into the Kantar network. In his new role, Patanella will report to Jean-Michel Portail, CEO Kantar Media Intelligence Europe.
Portail said: “Walter’s knowledge of our industry combined with a solid financial background will greatly help Kantar to continue developing a new go-to-go market strategy for media monitoring and evaluation.”
