In Sgrizzi’s new role, he will be responsible for leading the teams across  categories including telecommunications, consumer packaged goods and food, as well as beverages and spirits. Sgrizzi (pictured above) will report directly to Karen Kovacs, executive vice-president of client partnerships at NBCUniversal’s advertising & partnerships business.

With over 30 years’ experience in the ad sales industry, Sgrizzi’s leadership is described as being able to help NBCUniversal to “deepen client relationships and category expertise across a range of businesses”.

Sgrizzi and his team will be focused on striking partnerships with NBCUniversal’s brands and connecting them with consumers across One Platform.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Sgrizzi spent nearly three decades at Turner/WarnerMedia, with a career ranging from being the first-ever account executive on Cartoon Network to leading Turner’s portfolio sales and client partnerships division.

During his time at Turner/WarnerMedia, Sgrizzi partnered with leading national brands and media agencies to strategically align value propositions of the company to the unique needs of consumers. He then joined Topwater Advisory Group, where he served as a senior media consultant.

“Frank is not only an expert in this business but a trusted colleague amongst the entire industry,” commented Kovacs.

“We are extremely fortunate to have him join our team and are thrilled with what his unmatched experience and leadership will bring to our sales division, our clients and our partners.”
