US — The Marketing Research Association (MRA) has voted in its first client-side researcher as chairman in its 56-year history.
Nestle Purina Petcare’s senior brand insights manager Jill Donahue has been voted in as MRA’s chairman for 2013-2014 as part of its annual board elections.
“The volunteer leaders of MRA have done the heavy lifting over the years to get us where we are today. MRA has never been stronger, and is remarkably positioned to advance the research profession and everyone in it,” said Donahue.
Joining Donahue on the Executive Committee will be:
• Debby Schlesinger-Hellman, executive vice-president, Schlesinger Associates
• Ted Donnelly, managing director, Baltimore Research (MRA Vice Chairman)
• Vaughn Mordecai, president, Discovery Research Group (MRA Treasurer)
• Dan Womack, senior manager, Insights, Aflac (MRA Secretary)
The following industry professionals additionally will serve on MRA’s Board as Directors:
