US – Ipsos has launched a product evaluation solution for marketers, drawing on consumer feedback from online user ratings and reviews.
The ‘Product Intelligence’ solution uses text analytics to analyse social data on products that are in market, offering insights on product performance.
The tool is part of the company’s set of product and package testing solutions, which includes video analytics, online eye-tracking and virtual reality testing.
Virginia Weil, president of innovation and product testing at Ipsos, said the offer would give clients “deep insights into how consumers express their opinions about their products in real life and in real-time”.
