SOUTH AFRICA— Online intelligence and digital media planning firm Effective Measure has hired Alan Morrissey as country managing director for South Africa. He takes over from the departing Francois Vorster.
Morrissey (pictured) joins from auditing bureau ABC UK where he was senior sales and account manager. He takes up the new role on 1 November.
Hie areas of expertise are online business intelligence, research and web analytics, the firm said.
Brendan Ogilvy, Effective Measure’s regional managing director for the Middle East and Africa said: “In his new role, Alan will focus on user engagement, strategic partnerships and driving operational growth.”
