US — IRI president and CEO Andrew Appel (pictured) has joined the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF)’s board of directors for a three-year term.
The ARF board includes senior leaders from advertising and marketing agencies, advertisers, media and technology companies and research organisations.
“Big data, advanced analytics and targeting, and new technologies are dramatically transforming how advertising and marketing impact the consumer, improving the quality of the experience and the ROI of campaigns,” said Appel.
“I am eager to join the board of this outstanding organisation, contribute the learnings and insights gained at IRI, and add to the innovation that is reshaping how organisations communicate with their key audiences.”
