SINGAPORE— Management consultancy Accenture has opened an analytics innovation centre in Singapore that will serve as an asset development lab and research hub for clients in the country.

The centre is supported by Singapore’s Economic Development Board, an organisation in place to enhance the country’s position as a global hub for business and investment.

Accenture’s work at the centre will focus on developing “innovative approaches” for the use of analytics in health, education, procurement, public safety, transportation and workforce effectiveness.

Teo Lay Lim, the firm’s managing director for Singapore said: “We believe that the intellectual property output from the center will enable a number of breakthrough solutions for our clients that will positively impact the lives of Singapore citizens.”
