KENYA— Darren Smith has been promoted to operations director at Synovate Pan-Africa after seven years with the company.
Smith (pictured) has been with Synovate since 2004 and has served as the firm’s general manager in Singapore, where he was responsible for business development, operations, implementation, solutions and product development.
He was previously at telecoms firm Cable & Wireless where he was customer service director.
Synovate CEO of geographies Michael Spedding said: “This new position demonstrates our commitment to support the continued growth of our Pan African operations. We are delighted that Darren, with his significant expertise will be taking on this important role.”
