ORC’s Resnick named chair-elect of Casro board

US— Opinion Research Corporation’s global managing director Jeffrey Resnick has been voted in as chair-elect of the Council of American Survey Research Organisations (Casro).

Resnick will take over as chairman of the council’s board of directors in 2012, replacing Susan McDonald, CEO of National Analysts Worldwide, who holds the position for 2011.

The pair are joined on the board by Robin Arnold, CEO of The Gilmore Research Group, who was re-elected as treasurer while Olinger Group chief Jude Olinger becomes secretary.

Kantar Health CEO Lynnette Cooke was re-elected to another three-year term, while Youth Pulse president Daniel Coates and Burke CEO Jeffrey Miller are new additions to the board.

Meanwhile, Maritz Research CEO Michael Brereton was named Casro’s chair-elect for 2012, to replace Resnick as chairman in 2013.
