Burke makes two executive promotions
Tara Marotti, who has spent 28 years at the Cincinnati-based firm, has been promoted to president.
Marotti has held a raft of different roles during her long tenure with the company, latterly as chief client officer, where she was “instrumental” in developing partnerships with its clients.
In her new role, she will lead a combined group of research operations, insights and analytics, technology, and Seed Strategy (Burke’s innovation and strategy consultancy).
Diane Surette, Burke’s CEO, said: “In the role of president, Tara will build on that foundation and focus on raising the level of service and elevating client deliverables overall. Given her experience across the organisation and her ability to build teams and foster talent."
Secondly, John Thomas, who has been with Burke since 2009, has been promoted from head of client services to chief client officer.
Thomas has previously worked in many roles in Client Services and served as Burke’s managing director of healthcare.
In the new role, Thomas will work closely with Burke’s chief research officer as the company’s products and services continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of client organisations.
He will also add Marketing to his team, which includes Client Services and Burke Healthcare.
Surette added: “As CCO, John will continue to establish meaningful partnerships with new clients.”
