Contentsquare secures $190m investment

US – Experience analytics company Contentsquare has completed a $190m Series D funding round led by BlackRock’s private equity partners team.

The funding will be used to invest in artificial intelligence-based and predictive analytics and expand geographically in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Middle East.

Founded in 2012, Contentsquare platform analyses customer behaviour using anonymous web, mobile and app interactions.

Nathalie von Niederhaeusern from BlackRock is joining Contentsquare’s board of directors.

Jonathan Cherki, founder and chief executive of Contentsquare, said: “Our clients and partners will benefit from the acceleration of our innovation, both organically with important R&D recruitments and through acquisitions. We will also invest in sales and marketing in key geographies to fuel our rapid market expansion.”

Contentsquare acquired Israel-based experience analytics firm Clicktale in 2019.
