HONG KONG— TNS has restructured its operations in the Asia Pacific region, and made Singapore its new regional headquarters.
The firm said that the new structure had been put in place to “reflect the differing needs” of the APAC region and will increase the level of focus on clients and improve efficiency.
Riquier (pictured), the firm’s CEO for Africa, India and Oceania, will become CEO of the APAC region in January and he will be supported by Heather Payne as CMO, and Neerja Wable who will focus on APAC client development on top of her role as CEO for India and Sri Lanka.
Hamish Munro has been appointed managing director for Singapore, while Hong Kong CEO Wade Garland will assume line management for Taiwan, which is led by Manny Inocenio.
Vietnam and Malaysia will be overseen by Ralf Matthaes while Grant Bertoli will be responsible for overseeing Thailand and the Philippines.
Malaysia MD Yazid Jamain and Philippines MD Gary de Ocampo will report to Matthaes and Bertoli respectively.
Riquier said: “This structure responds to feedback provided to us by clients and staff; it will allow us to be more dynamic and responsive to the many opportunities and challenges presented by this exciting growth region.”
